How To help Consumers Start A Double Trouble in Recovery Group

Recovery is a life long process which does not end when clients are discharged from formal treatment .This is particularly true for those suffering from co-occurring dis-orders . It is therefore incumbent upon the health care professional to support clients in their transition from structured treatment to life outside of the health care system. This is done through giving clients strategies and resources which they will be able to use once formal treatment has ended. Self-Help (mutual-aid) is a support for clients as they continue their journey of recovery beyond the treatment phase.
