Coppin State University is a four year public institution of
higher education which awards bachelor’s and master’s
level degrees, as well as specialized certificates and continuing
education credit. CSU began as a training facility for teachers
in 1926 and was granted University status in 1967.
Coppin State University is accredited by the Middle States Association
of Colleges and Schools. The Rehabilitation Counselor Education
Program of CSU is accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation
Education.
